THE JESUS AND MARY CHAIN COLLABORATE WITH YANG LI

In partnership with SHOWstudio, Icelandic video director Agusta Yr created 3D animations for Yang Li's Spring/Summer 2020 show, focused on, and inspired by The Jesus and Mary Chain. The collection debuted in Paris at Yang Li's Spring/Summer 2020 presentation on the multidimensional screens of La Gaîté Lyrique on 28 September where the band performed live alongside the uniquely presented show.

Yang Li’s collection took inspiration from The Jesus and Mary Chain, their music and aesthetic. Yang Li presented the collection in a series of videos accompanied by the band's live performance of Some Candy Talking, April Skies, Happy When it Rains and Just Like Honey. Immediately after the live show, three of these videos were released - the digital experience has been translated for an online viewers and is available to stream here.
